Meet our new Volunteer Coordinator -
Mark Moffett!

Mark Moffett is a Colorado native and loves living here. He has a lovely wife, Heather, at home expecting their first child in April 2012. Mark deeply cares about people more than himself making this character a great strength "but also turns out sometimes to be my biggest weakness," he confesses. He enjoys golf and coaching high school baseball. His motto is "good enough is not good enough," and, "If you love what you do, you don't work a day in your life."

Mark says, "I truly love serving people and look forward to serving and helping you in any way that I can. It is my honor to be able to do that. So if you need anything please don't hesitate to ask."

Feature Story: GameDay Tour - Make it a group experience

Training is a huge part of students’ lives.Whether they’re in basketball, soccer, football, gymnastics or even choir, ballet or band...they’re committed. They spend hours practicing, training, rehearsing, and pushing themselves to the limit. However, adults need that same training too, especially when it comes to living and leading THE Cause. At GameDay, students and volunteers will face the reality and the urgency of the “competition” they are a part of everyday in the grand Kingdom conflict for the souls of their friends.

This year, the training will be based on 2 Timothy 4:1-8. Students will be trained through Paul’s charge to Timothy to preach the word while training and “playing” hard for the Kingdom.

• Go… Preach the Word - learn the basics of the full story of the GOSPEL and the inerrancy of scripture.
• Fight… for your friends - train hard and learn to use the tools of prayer, pursuit and persuasion.
• Win… the reward - play for keeps in order to get the prize set aside for those committed to THE Cause of Christ.

As you consider volunteering this year, we encourage you to bring your friends and/or small groups. It’ll be great time to together gain some training through the conference and fellowship as you serve thousands of teenagers in your region. Share the information with your friends and small groups..   After you've signed up, talk to more people about volunteering. This is a great way to get your friends, small group, and church congregation involved in what you're already doing!
  

Dare 2 Share volunteers are Champions who live and lead what we call “THE Cause” (aka The Great Commission - Matthew 28:19-20). As a volunteer at a conference, you play a role in a movement that is mobilizing teenagers to reach their world for Jesus Christ. No matter what volunteer team you serve on, you are key to ensuring that attendees have a safe, enjoyable and memorable training experience. If you have not signed up to volunteer, please consider joining D2S in training teenagers to relentlessly and relationally share their faith with their friends at the GameDay Tour in a conference city nearest you. What's Happening at Dare 2 Share:

Here are a few things that are going on in the ministry right now:

• Our office headquarters moved to a new space that will help us accomplish our mission better. But, in case you need to get a hold of us, our contact info is still the same!
  
  
• GameDay Conference preperation is a big thing on our plates right now. We're putting together the program, and preparing for the 7 conferences accross the nation in 2012.
  
  
• Lead THE Cause University is another exciting venture Dare 2 Share is planning for in this season. This coming June, Dare 2 Share will host a deeper level leadership intensive for High School Students and youth leaders in Lakewood, Colorado.
